Consortium Meeting in Athens, 27–29 May 2025

From 27 to 29 May 2025, the iREFLECT project partners gathered at the Deutsche Schule Athen for the final transnational meeting of the project. The atmosphere was shaped by a thoughtful mix of farewell sentiment and celebration—reflecting both the close of an intensive three-year collaboration and a shared sense of pride in the achievements.

The meeting provided a rich setting for collaborative exchange and strategic planning. Partners shared plans and lessons learned from national pilot phases and explored how the iREFLECT approach can be scaled and embedded in diverse contexts of teacher education and school development.

A special highlight was the joint review of the iREFLECT Toolbox, the core product of the project. This comprehensive collection brings together over 40 reflection methods, structured processes, and communication tools. As translations are being finalized and supplementary materials prepared for publication, the Toolbox is approaching its final form—ready to support reflective practice across Europe.

Very insightful was also the series of expert interviews conducted with teachers at Deutsche Schule Athen. These interviews offered first-hand insights into the everyday relevance and practical value of the iREFLECT tools. The discussions confirmed that structured reflection - when supported by thoughtful methods and peer dialogue - can meaningfully enhance professional growth and team learning.

Many thanks to the team at Deutsche Schule Athen for their outstanding hospitality, thoughtful preparation, and for hosting a reflective and forward-looking final meeting in such an inspiring setting.
